Blotlings started on canvas. Bil built a moodboard from his own paintings — the color logic, the loose silhouettes, the way one shape splits into stripes, checks, and blocks of solid color — and used Midjourney to carry that visual language into a growing set of small, collectible pieces. Each Blotling is its own little creature: same visual dialect as the paintings, but sized for a laptop lid, a wall, or a shirt you wear out the door. None of it is trying to pass as a painting — it's a new offshoot, built to be collected one at a time.
